Getting here & Parking
The clinic is located at 3/417 Ferntree Gully Rd Mount Waverley VIC 3149, Australia.Getting There: We are located in the service lane of Ferntree Gully Road (left if you are going away from the city), you must enter this service lane approximately 300m before the corner of Blackburn and Ferntree Gully Road to access our address. After the service lane entry we are about 150m up on the left in the same address as Kingdom Fitness.Parking: Enter the driveway where Kingdom Fitness is and proceed to unit 3, there are 3 Leap Healthcare car spaces directly at the front of unit 3 , if these are full keep driving to the back of the block where there is a car park.
Do I need a referral from my Dr to use Medicare?
Yes. You need to speak to your GP to qualify for a CDM (formerly EPC plan) Medicare subsidised sessions
What do I wear to Physiotherapy sessions?
Please wear clothing that you are able to expose the injured area with, and keep in mind most sessions we will undertake some sort of exercise.
How many Physiotherapy sessions will I need?
This depends on the injury and how long you have had it for. Acute injuries usually need to be seen less than long term, chronic injuries. We usually underestimate how long some injuries can take to see improvement so please be patient with your body! Acute injuries 2-6 weeks Chronic more long term injuries usually 3-8 months.
Can I claim my private health insurance on the spot?
Yes, we accept most private health funds, so you will only pay the gap at the time of your appointment.
